Frisbee at John’s is one of the most laid back sports and traditionally one of our most successful. It’s something that no-one has ever really done before they come to John’s so don’t worry if you don’t yet know your hammers from your chicken wings. Teams are mixed and we play all throughout the year (yes, in the snow too). So come along and we look forward to seeing you out there.
We have weekly training sessions where we’ll do a few drills and skills then have a big match at the end. Training is very chill but always great fun regardless of how good you are.

Last year we ran 2 teams both of which did exceptionally well. The A-Team only losing 2 matches, finishing 4th and the B-Team only losing 1 match, ending up winning the division.
Running and A and a B-Team means that it’s super easy and fun to play regardless of how good you are. At John’s we have a rule where if you want to play, then you play meaning that you can get involved right from the get-go.
Last year the B-Team struggled a bit for numbers; some matches not even making a full 7. This, however, did not stop them from making some amazing victories beating Josephine Butler 10-1 and Hatfield 13-2.
This year, we’d love to be able to run 2 teams as well so if you interested then absolutely come along; we’d love to have you.
